Hedgehog: Nicer on the inside

At first glance, it might seem like such a tiny character is not so necessary, but try to imagine the forest without him! Hedgehogs, though small and inconspicuous, are very important animals and our prickly friend even more so! If you’re a fan of the series, you’ll know just how often he and his hedgehog friends take part in forest affairs: they brought mushrooms for Masha's “jam”, they helped save the chief mischief maker from her hiccups, and they helped wallpaper Bear’s house. Though he's small in size, he’s far from timid. He lives a very active life, he’s always busy helping out, either alone or with his fellow hedgehogs. For this reason, he doesn’t intentionally get involved in games and tricks, but one way or another he always seems to be involved. Masha is very fond of him, and is more than happy to fill him to the brim with her porridge! She always likes to decorate his needles with bright colours or make him a little train costume for Halloween!

How difficult it is to remain calm when two little tombs are raging in the house. Panda and Masha are fooling around for days. To cope with stress, Bear needs a good rest. Will he be able to restore internal forces or two fidgets will not give him peace?

Himalayan Bear is once again competing with Bear! This time they have arranged a bike race, but something doesn't smell right: Himalayan Bear intends on cheating to win! Good thing Masha stands as a guardian of justice and always comes to a friend's aid!

Bear has a new problem: his garden has been overtaken by dandelions! As Bear tries to fight against the weeds, Masha does not understand why he is picking flowers just to throw them away. After all, dandelions can be so beautiful!

Jam Day

The Bear decides to harvest berries and to cook jam. This idea is literally up to Masha’s taste. She tries everything. Afterwards she decides to play an astronaut by putting a glass jar on her head. The Bear tries to get her head out of the container and eventually he succeeds only to discover his own paw inside the same jar. He spends the remaining day in attempts to free his hand.

Recipe for Disaster

The Bear plays checkers. Masha interrupts him asking to feed her. The Bear cooks some porridge for her. But Masha doesn’t like it. The Bear goes off in a huff. Masha decides to cook porridge her self. But soon the porridge swells out. All the forest inhabitants will remember this day for long...

Hold Your Breath

Episode number: 22

Bright summer day. Bear, while gathering berries, meets female bear in the forest and arranges a date with her. Returning home, he starts cleaning the house and baking a pie. Once the pie is done, the Bear decorates it with strawberries. Masha eats them before starting to hiccup. The Bear tries all manner of remedies from a medical encyclopedia to stop the hiccups. In the end, hiccups spread to everyone including all other forest in-habitants.

The Foundling

Episode number: 23

Occasionally Masha finds an egg, from which a penguin hatches. The Bear has to take double care now. He cooks special dishes and builds mini aqua park for little penguin and Masha. Finally theBear figures out that the penguin will be happy only in suitable weather conditions and send the penguin Antarctica on a little plane.

Picture Perfect

Episode number: 27

On a fine winter day Masha and the Bear find inspiration to start painting. Masha borrows paints with a tiny canvas and begins to make paintings of everyone in the forest. As a result, Masha's artistic endeavor enlarged not only on the animals but the surroundings as well.

Masha and the Bear decide to shoot a movie, but they are arguing about the plot. So what will be the movie about? About spies, monsters or the distant worlds? Or maybe there is a more interesting idea?

Bear’s distant relative who comes for a visit from time to time. An excellent chef!

As friendly as a dog can be, he doesn’t bark, doesn’t bite, and doesn’t like to fight.

Rosie

Masha’s “little baby”. Likes to listen to music, dance, read and collect different plants.

Hare

A little bit of a rascal. Be careful. Constantly steals carrots from Bear’s garden.

Squirrel

A permanent resident of the forest, living in a little den. Fast, agile and independent.

Goat

The chillest character in the whole show. Always prefers to stay far, far away from trouble.

Tiger

Bear’s best friend and a former colleague from the circus. A joker and a merry man, а magician.

Dasha

Masha’s cousin from the city. A very thoughtful, serious and intelligent girl.

Lady Bear

The paragon of elegance. An intelligent lady who loves poetry, music and fashion magazines. Bear’s passion.

Rival Bear

He’s macho, and he’s handsome. He looks perfect on the outside, but the inside isn’t so warm.
