Bear: The world’s best friend

Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and the stress from the circus, Bear decided to move to the forest to lead a quiet and reclusive life. Here, everything is perfect: he has his own vegetable garden, a colourful flower bed, beehives and a river nearby for fishing. The only spanner in the works was when a little rascal in a pink sundress appeared in his house. At first, Bear wasn’t exactly happy to have her company, but now he can’t imagine his life without her. Able to do just about anything: cook, sew, paint, write a movie and build spaceships. He even got so carried away that he made a time machine, but didn’t use it often. After all, messing with time can be dangerous. When he has some free time, he likes to read, play checkers and chess, complete sudoku and go fishing. He’s not the world’s best athlete, but still likes to ride his bike, roller skate, ski and has even mastered tennis and golf. He can always find a friend in anyone, from crazy kids to lost aliens. He loves to travel and go on hikes – he visited a volcano, travelled around the world and flew to the moon. He can play several instruments. Likes to eat yummy food.

Masha

An energetic ball of fire. A kid that everybody knows and will never forget.

Bear

A retired circus performer. Good-natured, a jack-of-all-trades and a fisherman. Masha's friend.

Panda

Bear’s distant relative who comes for a visit from time to time. An excellent chef!

Dog

As friendly as a dog can be, he doesn’t bark, doesn’t bite, and doesn’t like to fight.

Hare

A little bit of a rascal. Be careful. Constantly steals carrots from Bear’s garden.

Squirrel

A permanent resident of the forest, living in a little den. Fast, agile and independent.

Goat

The chillest character in the whole show. Always prefers to stay far, far away from trouble.

Hadgehog

A friendly and independent animal apples lover. Prickly but extremely cute.

Tiger

Bear’s best friend and a former colleague from the circus. A joker and a merry man, а magician.

Dasha

Masha’s cousin from the city. A very thoughtful, serious and intelligent girl.

Lady Bear

The paragon of elegance. An intelligent lady who loves poetry, music and fashion magazines. Bear’s passion.

Rival Bear

He’s macho, and he’s handsome. He looks perfect on the outside, but the inside isn’t so warm.

Silly Wolf

A naïve, trusting fool. Always with his friend Sly Wolf, and always listens to him.

Sly Wolf

The rascal. Is part of a duo with his less-than-smart friend, who he uses to carry out his plans.

Rosie

Masha’s “little baby”. Likes to listen to music, dance, read and collect different plants.

Penguin

Hatched from an egg and considers Bear to be his papa. Mischievous but easy-going.
